 Dark Nights And Fireworks !!!!!

The autumn leaves are now falling and covering the ground with a colourful carpet of bronze-copper-golden yellow-brown -rich reds & purples, the rustling sound of them around your feet and those wonderful crisp cold autumn mornings.

Yes folks we are heading into the latter part of the year, dark nights, the sound of loud firework bangs in the evening as we get closer to November 5th and bonfire night.

So it is now time to get in the garden and do the pruning and tidy up jobs before winter comes.

Cut back those untidy bushes & trees ,remove any dead wood, trim the hedges, sweep and treat slippery paths with moss & algee killer before the winter months.

Autumn is an excellent time to plant fruit trees ready for the spring.

It is also the best time of year to plant hedges such as Hawthorn, Beech, Privet ect.  Remember when planting to use a good fertilizer and planting medium to promote new growth.

Happy Gardening
