Feb 4, 2008

Vernon Primary School has been awarded the Dyslexia Friendly Mark.

Sarah Kiely, Deputy Headteacher at the Poynton school said “During the inspection, our school was found to be an inclusive school which caters extremely well for every child’s needs.  Teaching styles used are varied and interesting, which motivates all children to learn to the best of their ability.”

The assessors found that the school environment was visually stimulating and supportive for learners.

Mrs Kiely added “We are very proud to have been awarded the Dyslexia Friendly Mark and continue to work hard to provide the best quality education for all.”
