The Cancer Patient & Carers Partnership for Stockport is seeking new members to join our group.
The Cancer Patients and Carers Partnership is a consortium of Stockport NHS Primary Care Trust, Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, the Beechwood Cancer Care Centre and anyone who is interested in influencing the development and continued improvement of services for patients receiving care and treatment in Stockport.
The Beechwood Care Centre tel: 0161 476 0384 offers free help for anyone whose life has been affected by the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The group meets here four times a year in the early evening; the overall co-ordination of the group is the responsibility of Bev Meenan, the Macmillan Lead Nurse for cancer and Palliative Care at the Foundation Trust.
If you are interested in becoming involved with Stockport Cancer Patient and Carers Partnership Group but feel a little apprehensive about coming to your first meeting we can arrange for a group member to welcome you personally. Please contact Bev Meenan for more information. Telephone 0161 419 4253 or email beverley.meenan@stockport.nhs.uk
