Bramhall Hockey Club training sessions in full swing

Increasing the amount of pitch time for training and youth development is a natural step for Bramhall Hockey club as it grows from strength to strength.

Training takes place on the Astroturf at Bramhall Leisure Centre, Seal Road under floodlights.

The first team play in North West League Division one and are currently in the top half of the table. Ex National league player Simon Livingstone runs the Wednesday night sessions , start time 7.30pm along with Captain Jim Blower.

Thursday night at 7.30pm welcomes all comers and about 30 dedicated players of all ages regularly turn out to be put through their paces by club Coach Ric Stewart. Juniors, aged 12 plus receive personal skills coaching  under the expert guidance of Dave Brierley and help from England Hockey qualified Coach Kelvin Briggs. The youngsters have under 16 age group matches each Saturday against teams throughout the North West.

Sunday is set aside for children, boys and girls from 6 upwards. Sticks are provided and the emphasis is on fun as well as learning new skills and making new friends.
