After a year's gap, the Fun Run organised by Bramhall & Woodford Rotary Club is back on track!  And it's got a brand new sponsor - Waitrose of Cheadle Hulme. And  where better to hold it than the  centrepiece of Bramhall - Bramall Park  on Sunday, 11 May?

There will be two "Runs": Junior for under 13s and Senior for 13 and above, including adults. All competitors can register from 12.45 to 13.45.   The route, for the Seniors, is about 5 kms (3miles), and for the Juniors about 1.5 kms. (1 mile) starting at approximately 14.00 and 14.15 respectively. Both routes are contained within the Park. Registration forms can be downloaded from the Rotary website or from Waitrose in Cheadle Hulme.

Prizes for Seniors will range from £75 (plus Total Fitness Family Membership Voucher) to cash prizes of £50 and £30, and gift vouchers for Juniors coming first, second and third.  There will also be prizes for the most enterprising or fun group of Senior runners, and prizes for the best fancy dress amongst the Junior runners.

At 3.15 a Duck Race will be held on the river in the park.  Ducks are £1 each and the first four prizes will be vouchers for  £50, £30, £20 and £10, plus other prizes for runners-up.  Duck tickets can be purchased from Waitrose and Total Fitness, and on the day.

And it's all in a good cause!  All sponsorship raised by the runners will be divided equally between charities selected by the runners themselves and the Princess Royal Trust for Carers and other Rotary supported charities.
