The New Wellspring Building Donations Needed

The Wellspring charity in Stockport provides services to Homeless and Disadvantaged people in Stockport 365 days a year. The Charity supports Homeless people out of Homelessness and towards independence. Over 500 people have been rehoused by Wellspring staff, all these people were sleeping rough on the streets of Stockport or Manchester at some time.

The Wellspring has been fundraising for several years to buy a new building as the charity now offers so many effective services to Homeless people we have out grown our current premises.

Building work on our new building has started last month and the new building should be ready for June 2009. The New Wellspring building will be the only purpose built resource for Homeless people in the north of England.

The Wellspring has a shortfall of funds of around £80K to finish the new building and make it the best it can be for the thousands of Stockport people who use the services offered.

Donations can be made online using any credit or debit card and every penny donated will really make a difference to the lives of thousands of Stockport people.
