Filming at Bramall Hall!

The magnificant setting of Bramall Hall has been host to several television filming events in the past, including an episode of Extreme Makeover on August 15th 2007. The revealing of a newly made-over lady from Stockport took place at Bramall Hall amongst the grand backdrop, and was aired on Living TV.
More recently however, Bramall Hall closed its doors on Thursday 6th September whilst Granada Television took some film shots for a new six part series called 'into the unknown'.
Each episode will be based around intriguing and mysterious locations in the North West and feature links to numerous tourist experiences throughout the region. The series will be aired at peak time on Thursday evenings on ITV1.
The producer of this new mini series will be recreating historical events in these 'mysterious locations' with the use of props and actors, whilst the presenter guides the audience through the historical stories.
Straight after the transmission date, Bramall Hall will be hosting a promotional weeekend in conjunction with 'Dreamscope' (the production company). Dates, prices etc TBC.
Future filming at Bramall Hall is likely to include an episode of 'Most Haunted' - another thrilling and popular programme that looks into the supernatural occurences of 'spooky' locations!
