World famous Halle Orchestra visit Bramhall

The world famous Halle orchestra has agreed to a series of concerts in Bramhall at the village's Methodist Church Hall.
Sections of the multi-award winning orchestra will be taking it in turns to perform as part of a series of six chamber music concerts, starting in October and running through November, December 2007 and March, April, May 2008.
Halle organsier and cellist, David Petri, said "It's something we've wanted to do for a while... .we'd just decided to start looking for somewhere to do it when the Methodist church's Leslie Newton got in touch quite out of chance and caught us at a good time......so if we get the numbers it's likely we'll make this permanent." he said.
Tickets for the concerts are £7, or £5 concession, and can be brought in advance at the church's Centre Point.
Places are stricktly limited to 250 per concert.
