50 Bramhall children at hockey festival
50 local Bramhall children aged between 6 and 12 years of age braved the rain to attend the recent Junior hockey festival staged by Bramhall Hockey Club and Stockport Borough Council.The 'Spotlight On Sport'event was a fantastic success introducing the game to local primary school children.
Bramhall Hockey Club training sessions in full swing
Training at Bramhall Hockey club has expanded to three sessions for 2007.The first team now train Wednesdays at 7.30pm, Club training for anyone is on Thursdays at 7.30pm and junior training, children aged 6 to 16 is on Sundays is at 2.15pm until 3.30pm. The increased number of sessions reflects the dramatic growth in interest in playing Hockey in the area. New players are support volunteers are always welcome.
