Poynton / Hazel Grove Round Table Bonfire & Fireworks

Preparations are well underway for the annual Poynton & District Round Table charity bonfire and fireworks spectacular, which this year is on SATURDAY 3rd November at Poynton Pool. As usual, advanced tickets are available from Mates DIY, Park Lane and other local shops. Look out for the special Firework Spectacular posters in and around the village. In addition, tickets are available from the local primary schools. There is “on the night” pay at the gate admission too.                               

It is recommended to use the Civic Centre car park off Park Lane and from there you can join the Torchlight Procession with the Poynton Commodores.

The ticket pricing and timings for the evening’s events are detailed below.

N.B. All tickets have been frozen at last year’s prices to provide even better value!

As always, our aim is to give everybody an exciting evening of fun and entertainment (including a licensed bar and fairground rides), however safety of all those attending is our highest priority. At Poynton & District Round Table, we are very proud of our safety record and therefore sparklers or your own fireworks are not permitted at the event. Please join us in celebrating Fireworks Night; in addition to having a great time you will also be helping us to raise vital funds for local good causes and charities. This year are chosen main charity is Francis House Children’s Hospice (www.francishouse.org.uk) and with your continued support we can make a fantastic contribution to some of their many projects and activities. Since Poynton and District Round Table formed in 1972 we have distributed many tens of thousands of pounds to the local community so please help us to have a record year and continue to make Poynton / Hazel Grove a great place to live!

Staging the event always requires many people, and whilst all Round Tablers are duty bound to help, we are only a relatively small team and so we are always extremely grateful for any volunteers to help us on the big day.
