The next blood donation session with the National Blood Service in the area is as follows : Date: Thursday 13th September Location: The Parish Centre,               Green Lane,               Hazel Grove Time: 1.30 - 3.30pm & 5.30 - 7.30pm  The figures below show the current stock level of each type of blood group.  Stock Level

Please note, these figures don't include what's being held in hospital blood banks up and down the country.

Last year the National Blood Service collected 2.1 million donations from about 1.6 million donors. That counts for only 5% of the eligible population giving blood 2 - 3 times a year.
