Torkington Park - Tree Carving

Andrew will start work on the beech tree at the Torkington Road entrance to the park this week.  The scaffold is in place and will probably last 4 - 6 weeks.

The carving will be of a sqirrel at the top with vines working around the tree with small mammals peeping through.  The project has been funded by the Stepping Hill area committee with a grant of £700 and the Hazel Grove Regeneration Committee with a grant of £500.
