A glittering VIP event to celebrate the launch of Poynton destination bridal boutique - Timeless Bride - drew an impressive guest list, including Coronation Street stars and local It-girl models. Celebrity love-birds, Tina O’Brien and Ryan Thomas, were spotted swooning over the sumptuous selection of wedding gowns showcased at the event’s spectacular fashion show.

Tina and Ryan are looking very settled in real life – worlds apart from their Corrie characters, Sarah and Jason – with a baby on the way and possible future plans for marriage. The Timeless Bride event, unveiling stunning wedding dresses and accessories, certainly provided the celebrity couple with an ideal opportunity to take a look at the wedding wonderland created by Poynton’s Michelle Hinds – the boutique’s proprietor and bridal stylist.

Against a backdrop of a beautiful marquee lit with an atmospheric starlight effect, stunning models strutted their stuff in show-stopping wedding and bridesmaid gowns designed by eminent and emerging designers from the world over.

Timeless Bride’s order book was already rapidly filling up at the sneak preview – where guests were clamouring to be the first to try on the gorgeous gowns.  The rest of us now have a chance to browse the hand-picked selection of wedding gowns, as the glamorous boutique was unveiled to the public on Wednesday 30 April.

Michelle said: ‘’The launch event was such a success.  There was a real buzz to the evening. I now can’t wait to welcome brides to the boutique for their personal consultations. Brides-to-be have already commented that the boutique reflects the glamour and excitement of the whole wedding experience, making it the dream wedding dress destination!’’

The event was kindly sponsored by local bridal services companies, including: The White Marquee Company, Horgans Wedding Cars, Saints and Scholars catering, Silk Wedding Video, Green Earth Florist, Hestia Beauty Spa, Reserve Wines and Pink Fizz favours.
