Our first rocket went so high we lost sight and for all we know it's still in orbit. However our second launch was something special, no danger of losing sight of this 7foot Dude
In April we traveled on the Steam Train from Bury to Rosendale return and then went skiing. We also had one for the road in a bar, a Temperance Bar, the only surviving one in England.

The scouts enjoyed an overnight camp at the bank holiday, several boys electing to sleep under the kitchen tent awning. The camp fire burned until morning.
Summer is with us and activities mainly surround sailing and rock climbing, weather permitting. The troop is looking forward to our annual weekend camp on the banks of Rudyard Lake in July, a truly wonderful location for the camp.
