This year, the Twinning Association will be sponsoring prizes for the Children’s Arts Section at Poynton Show.We are particularly involved in one of the categories - “A Taste of Hungary” – in which children are invited to give their own impressions of Hungary. Poynton is twinned with Erd, a town near Budapest.
There are three age groups and participants could get their ideas from “googling” Hungary on the Internet.
Eva Hamilton-Fisher, a local artist, who is Hungarian and a member of the TAP Committee will again be the judge for all the Art categories.
Application forms can be obtained from the Civic Centre at the end of July.
