Twinning Association of Poynton

Building on the cultural exchange between the two communities of Erd and Poynton the Twinning Association of Poynton has arranged a weekend of choral activity at St George’s Church.
On Friday, 27th March, two local choirs - St George’s Singers and Poynton Male Voice Choir will be joined by the Szirmok Choir from Poynton’s twin town Erd to present a concert which will start at 19.30 at St George’s Church, Poynton. Tickets can be obtained from Mates DIY Shop, or at the door for £5.00 A glass of wine will be offered during the interval.
On Saturday afternoon, the 28th March, there will be open singing from 14.00 to 17.30. Admission is free ( but donations will be appreciated )
