Poynton Community Centre Poynton Community Centre Luncheon Club Every Wednesday (12 noon till 1.30pm)
YES! Our new luncheon club is up and running, followed each week by our SENIORS NETWORK session. So after a hearty lunch we will have our new WEEKLY get together with “Whist & Dominoes”, “Cash Bingo” (alternate weeks) or invited speakers (once a month). So tell your friends and get them to come and join us each week. Lunch will be served between 12 noon and 1.30pm (Last orders 1pm) but you will need to book with us the week before (wherever possible) so that we have an idea of numbers for lunch each week. You will be able to get a 3 course lunch (Soup, Main course, & Pudding) for the reasonable price of £4, or just have two courses for £3.25 We will then have a weekly ‘Seniors Network’ session between 1.30 and 3.30pm for which there will be a nominal charge of £1 each week towards the clubs cost of speakers, prizes etc. If our numbers grow to a reasonable level we will organize a trip out around Easter time. Please note that the voucher system we had before will now cease. We hope that this new venture will be a roaring success and we get many more members to join us.
