The Reception children at Vernon Infant School in Poynton recently enjoyed a visit to the village’s library.
The children had a wonderful time browsing the library, choosing books and listening to stories. A number of children became library members.
Joanne Glimmerveen, Headteacher at the school, said “The visit was linked to the Knowledge and Understanding of the World area of learning, and provided the children with a fantastic opportunity to learn about and enjoy the environment of the library. The children thoroughly enjoyed their experience and I would like to thank the staff at the library who were wonderful.”
