Two opportunites to promote your youth organisation.
Would you like to recurit more young people, or perhaps more adult helpers to your youth organisation?
We are running two events to help you do this.
On Thursday 21st February 2008 at the Gateway Project Presentation Evening we want to run a Youth Project Fair where young people and their parents can see what is on offer. The aim is that you would bring a display, some information and people to talk to and "set out your stall".
During the evening there will be two occasions where young people who have been taking part in the Gateway Project will have the opportunity to visit your stall, talk to you and find out if they would like to join in with you. Their parents will also be available to meet you.
Please note the young people on this project are year 9 and so generally your activity or group needs to be relevant to this age group and above.

Youth Exhibition March 2008, 6th - 8th (Friday to Sunday).
We are at the early stages of planning a Youth Exhibition in Poynton. This will again offer the chance to set out your stall but we hope will also be able to showcase some of the achievements of our young people. For example, if young people have taken part in charity projects at home or overseas, achieved success in sports, the performing or creative arts, or got involved to make a difference in our community we would like to celebrate their achievment.
This is an ambitious project and we would welcome offers of help to particiapte and to organise it.
