JCB Record Breaking Engine arrives for Diesel Exhibition  
As part of The Diesel Story Exhibition at the museum JCB have brought the diesel engine that powered the world landspeed record car (and a model of the car). This is the first time it will have been on display in the North West.

Demonstration of Bodging and Blacksmith's Forge  
The old crafts of Bodging & Forging will be displayed at the museum on Saturday 26th April 2008

Free counselling for young people in Poynton  
A counselling service has been set up in Poynton for young people aged 11 to 19 and operates in the Civic Hall from 3pm to 6pm.

Huge Response to Tesco's Planning Application  
Tesco's planning application was officially registered on December 17th and Macclesfield's planning department has recieved over 630 letters about the issue - more are still flooding in.
